EyeWrite has two arms, one specialising in writing support for clinicians, academics and students in eye and vision sciences, and the second focusing on communication about eye care and vision related topics to non-specialist audiences such as patients, parents and teachers.
Writing support for vision sciences
I offer editing and detailed feedback on manuscripts in vision science fields such as ophthalmology and optometry, with the aim of enhancing quality, clarity and legibility prior to submission. This is more than editing; I have extensive experience as a peer reviewer and associate editor in optometry and vision science so I provide feedback from a reviewer’s perspective. Manuscripts include:
- Articles in preparation for publication
- Grant applications
In addition to sending your manuscript to me, I can offer one-to-one face to face writing guidance online, using Zoom and screen sharing. If you would like to use this service, please contact me (firstname.lastname@example.org) to discuss.
Confidentiality: All manuscripts received by EyeWrite are managed securely and none of their content will in any circumstances be shared with anyone other than the sole academic providing editing and feedback. Once the manuscript is returned securely to the author, EyeWrite will delete the file from its systems.
